There is no such thing as a “typical Sons meeting,” since
there is so much diversity among the membership. Some local tents hold their meetings
in local restaurants, where dinner is included with the film program. Some
folks meet in a tavern and enjoy the movies on big-screen video.
That's our goal here in Palm Springs. We are "Brats", SO WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PRIVATE OR SEMI-PRIVATE SPACE IN A PUBLIC SALOON HERE IN THE PALM SPRINGS AREA WHERE WE CAN HAVE FUN AS WELL AS SCREEN THE BOY'S MOVIES.
After all, enjoyment is what it's all about.

At least one
tent devotes its activities exclusively to the movies, and sets up movie
projectors in a church hall for a “theatrical” atmosphere. A few tents have
held gatherings at local colleges, and some tents bring the joy of Laurel &
Hardy to children’s hospitals and nursing homes. And other “tent” meetings are
informal get-togethers in private homes, where friends pass around the popcorn
(or pizza) and watch Laurel & Hardy movies recorded from TV.
The Brats Tent would eventually like to bring our show on the road and go to area senior care facilities and show Laurel & Hardy movies to bring some enjoyment to the residents there as well.
Whatever the format may end up being, the meetings are always focused on the Laurel & Hardy films.

The purpose of our organization is to keep the lives and works of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy before the public, and to have a good time while doing it.
That's where the term "Party Hardy" comes into play.
